Meet the Doctors
Dr. Robert Bundy was born and raised in Ashland, NE. He completed his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He began his dental education at University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry, where he graduated with distinction. After dental school, he furthered his education by receiving advanced training in a General Practice Residency (GPR) at the UNMC Hospital and the Veterans Administration. During this residency, he treated a variety of patients, some with complex health issues and challenging dental needs.
Dr. Bundy was excited when the opportunity to open a dental practice in his hometown presented itself. He built a new building, equipped it with the latest technologies and opened in November of 2014. He continued to be a part-time clinical instructor at the UNMC Hospital in Omaha, where he supervised the GPR residents in the dental clinic. He now sees special needs adult patients at the Boys Town National Research hospital a few times a month. Dr. Bundy is committed to lifelong learning and continues to expand his scope of practice through continuing education. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Nebraska Dental Association, American Orthodontic Society, American Academy of Implant Dentistry and currently sits on the board of the Ashland Area Economic Development Corporation.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Bundy enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley, and daughters, Brynn and Josie. They love outdoor activities, traveling, and playing golf. Since returning to the community, he has become active in various community projects and committees. He serves on the boards of the Ashland Area Economic Development Corporation, Ashland Public School Foundation, and the Ashland Area Foundation. Additionally, he remains active with the local FFA Alumni and Ashland Area Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Amanda Boender, originally from Waverly, NE, joined Bundy Family Dentistry in July 2023, bringing her expertise and passion for dentistry to the Ashland community. She completed her bachelor's degree in biology from Missouri Western State University, where she also excelled as a volleyball player, showcasing her dedication and teamwork skills.
Following her undergraduate studies, she pursued her dental education at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry, where she honed her skills and knowledge in the field.
Dr. Boender is deeply passionate about dentistry, with a particular focus on helping her patients regain their confident smiles.
Her commitment to lifelong learning is evident through her active membership in several prestigious organizations, including the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Nebraska Dental Association, and American Academy of Facial Esthetics. These affiliations allow her to stay updated with the latest advancements in dental care, ensuring her patients receive the highest quality treatment.
In her free time, Dr. Boender enjoys a well-rounded lifestyle, spending quality time with family and friends, engaging in sports like volleyball and golf, and exploring new destinations through travel. She also cherishes her moments with her beloved pets, Ellie the cat and Hazel the dog, often taking them for leisurely walks.
Dr. Boender's dedication to her patients, combined with her continuous pursuit of knowledge and active involvement in the community, makes her a valuable asset to Bundy Family Dentistry and the Ashland community.

Suzi - Scheduling Coordinator
After a 30-year career in journalism, including over 20 years at The Ashland Gazette, Suzi made a major career change and joined Bundy Family Dentistry as a scheduling coordinator in June 2023. In addition to helping patients find the best time for their appointments, Suzi is also in charge of social media, the website, and press relations for Bundy Family Dentistry.
Amber - Assistant
Originally from Billings, MT, moved to Nebraska in 2018. Before joining Bundy Family Dentistry, worked as a pediatric dental assistant.
Lexi - Assistant
Lexi, born and raised in Plattsmouth, joined Bundy Family Dentistry in November 2021. Her experience began at a local dental lab, specializing in fixed prosthetics. In 2024, she became a Certified Dental Assistant. Lexi also supports the office with lab work and social media.
Jaden - Assistant
Jaden is from Millard and joined Bundy Family Dentistry as an assistant in January 2023 due to her lifelong interest in the dental field. She enjoys assisting with all procedures, particularly ortho, and working in the lab.
Kara - Hygienist
Originally from Lynch, NE, Kara graduated from UNMC College of Dentistry with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in May 2018 and started working for Bundy Family Dentistry right after graduation. Kara enjoys building patient relationships and strives to ensure her patients are informed and comfortable during their entire dental visit.
Savannah -Hygienist
Savannah is a 2012 graduate of UNMC with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Before joining Bundy Family Dentistry in July 2020, she spent 8 years caring for patients in a private practice in Omaha. Her favorite part of dental hygiene is getting to know her patients and helping them achieve a healthy smile.
Jordan - Hygienist
Jordan is from Omaha, NE, and graduated from UNMC College of Dentistry with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in May 2019. She loves getting to know patients, and her caring and sweet personality makes her an invaluable member of our team.
Amber - Hygienist
Amber grew up in Ord, NE, and graduated from Central Community College in Hastings with an Associate’s of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene in May 2003. After working in Omaha for several years, she desired to return to a small town. Amber enjoys developing relationships with patients and helping them keep smiling.
Tiffani - Office Coordinator
Tiffani started with Bundy Family Dentistry as a receptionist in January 2021. She grew up just south of Tampa, FL, and moved to Ashland with her husband Tim and their two children, Rorri and Brody, in 2017. Prior to working with us, Tiffani worked in the field of Early Childhood Development for 15 years. She is happy to answer your questions, help plan your appointments, and resolve your concerns to make your experience a positive one.
Megan -Assistant/Front Office
Megan began working at Bundy Family Dentistry in August 2024. She was raised in Elkhorn, NE. After graduating high school, Megan started attending college in Lincoln and is currently working towards a degree in Health Sciences. Megan and her husband, Isaac, live in Greenwood.
Zandi - Dental Assistant
Zandi was born and raised in Ashland, Nebraska, and graduated from Ashland-Greenwood High School. Zandi began working at Bundy Family Dentistry as an intern in the summer of 2024 and started full time in July 2025. Currently, Zandi is attending UNO to become a dental hygienist. In her free time, Zandi enjoys golfing and spending time with family and friends.
